Many Steelers fans believe that the Ravens/Steelers rivalry is the biggest rivalry in the NFL. The Bengals/Steelers rivalry may not be to that level yet, but over the past few years it has become a much more competitive and important rivalry inside the AFC North. James Harrison signing with the Bengals in free agency will just add another level to the rivalry.
Week 2 will be Harrison’s first of two games against his former team, which is sure to get plenty of media attention during the week. This game could also have a say in who wins the AFC North division in 2013. Last year the Steelers didn’t play a divisional game until week 7. Right now most analysts have the Steelers finishing third in the division behind the Ravens and Bengals. Therefore, a week 2 win on the road against the Bengals could be a huge win for the team during the 2013 season.
